The Work Hub is an app that you install on your device that lets you browse for and download apps from your organization's app center.
Your administrator may also require you to download an accompanying app that is called Corporate Access or Corporate Access for Samsung. You can't perform any tasks from this app; however, it is imperative that it remain on your device. This app gives you access to your company's internal resources. If you remove it, you lose access to those resources. If you are required to install the Corporate Access or Corporate Access for Samsung client, doing so is part of the Work Hub installation process.
The Work Hub is supported on Android 4.x and higher for phones and tablets (landscape and portrait mode supported for both).
After you install the Work Hub, you may want to create an offline PIN.
Make sure that you're on your mobile device when performing the following tasks.
Permit installing apps from unknown sources
Your device must have the setting enabled to permit installing apps from sources other than the Play Store. This setting is most likely located in Settings > Security > Device administration > Unknown sources on your Android device. For more information, see your Android device product documentation.
Install the Work Hub on your Android device
Access the Work Hub app download in either of the following ways:
* In your mobile device browser, type the URL address that your administrator provides you. If you are prompted to provide authentication credentials, which your administrator should provide.
* On your mobile device, open the email message from your administrator inviting you to install the Work Hub app. Tap the download link in the message body. If you are prompted to provide authentication credentials, which your administrator should provide.
Tap Download Work Hub.
If prompted that the file type can harm your device and to confirm that you want to download anyway, tap OK.
After the Work Hub file downloads, access the notifications page on your device.
Most Android devices let you swipe down from the top of the screen to view your notifications. Otherwise, check your device documentation for more information.
Tap the Work Hub .apk download complete notification.
If you are prompted for which app installer to use, tap the desired installer and how often to use it (Always or Just once).
A screen appears asking if you want to install this application. Review the privacy and device access information. Tap Next if necessary to view all the details and then tap Install.
When the application is installed, tap Open to access the Work Hub.
A login screen appears.
Type your user name and password and tap Sign In.
If you are attempting to enroll a restricted device, an error message appears. Restricted enrollments include attempting to install the Work Hub on a device with an unsupported operating system or attempting to install the Work Hub on more devices than permitted. In this scenario, you can go to the User portal and disassociate another enrolled device. Then you can follow the same procedures to enroll this device.
If the device enrollment is not restricted and if your administrator does not require you to install the Corporate Access or Corporate Access for Samsung app, the Work Hub appears. If you are required to install the additional Corporate Access or Corporate Access for Samsung app, proceed to the next step and complete the installation process.
If you are prompted to signify whether your device is personally owned, select the appropriate response and tap Continue.
Read the license agreement and tap Accept & Close.
On the Corporate Access or Corporate Access for Samsung screen, review the privacy and device access settings. Tap Next if necessary to view all the details and then tap Install.
On the Activate device administrator page, review the details and tap Activate.
Depending on your Android device, the Work Hub may automatically open at this stage. If not, locate the Work Hub app on your device and verify that it installed.
