Once the form is submitted, the service running on port 8000 will no longer be available. If you made a mistake in the form, the Symantec App Center Admin Console lets you change your entries. You will have to re-upload any files and re-enter any passwords.
The form will return prior to the server being available. You should monitor the install session in the terminal that was started above, and wait for it to return to the prompt (see below) before attempting to access the Symantec App Center Admin Console.

Use Shared File Storage (check box)
Check this box to use local shared file storage (NFS). If this check box is checked, the apps/content cache will NOT be saved in the DB. You must first mount the NFS share at the local cache directory. Use the following guidelines for setting up local file storage:
Install the NFS client on the App Center server.
Setup the NFS server on another Linux machine.
Mount the NFS shared location on the App Center server at /vol1/nukona, or at the custom path given in the Advanced Installation.
If this option is checked while deploying App Center, it should be checked when adding additional FEs.
Use External Database (check box)
Check this box for Production Installations only. When checked, you will see fields appear for two separate databases: App Center database (top) and MDM Core database (bottom). You must fill in these fields to setup both your databases. Once filled in, you can test the database connections using the Test Connection button.
For Trial Installations, do not check this box. Trial installations will automatically fill in all database information for you.
Choose either MySQL or Oracle.
Database host name.
Database port number (3306=MySQL, 1521=Oracle).
Name for the database.

Set up Apache with SSL? (check box)
For Trial mode, Symantec recommends that you configure Apache to use SSL. If you elect to not configure Apache to use SSL, you will still be required to upload SSL certificates that will be used by other App Center services. Do not use this check box if you have SSL termination at the Reverse Proxy level.
