With the release of version 7.5 of Symantec Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange (SMSMSE) has several new, more granular configuration options available for how to treat files that are considered "Unscannable" by the SMSMSE virus scanning engine. This article describes the options available for handling these types of files. 

The options include available for unscannable file handling include:
