Compliance rules let you control which devices can connect to Symantec Mobility: Suite, which can access email, and which can use secured ("wrapped") apps.
Create a compliance rule
Click Policies and rules > Compliance rules.
In the upper right corner, click New Rule.
Type a Name and a Description for the rule.
Under Requirements, select the compliance requirements:
Not a jailbroken/rooted device
The device is not rooted/jailbroken.
NMS client installed (Android devices only)
The device has an active Norton Mobile Security client installed.
Antivirus definitions up-to-date (Android devices with NMS client only)
The device's antivirus definitions are up-to-date.
No malware/threat detected (Android devices with NMS client only)
The device contains no malware or threat, or the threat is identified and remediated.
Users must delete threats from their devices, Mobility Suite administrators can't remove threats from users' devices. It may take up to 15 minutes for deleted threats to appear on the Compliance report.
