Your mobile administrator sends you an email invitation to install and enroll with Norton Mobile Security (NMS). Depending on whether you already have NMS on your device, you complete one of the following workflows:
NMS is already on your device: In the invite, tap Enroll.
NMS is not on your device: In the invite, tap Install.
If NMS is already on your device, after you click Enroll, your NMS app changes to the "Enterprise" version, which works with your company's mobile device management system.
If NMS is not on your device, you download and install it. Your administrator provides instructions to use one of the following methods:
In the invitation sent to you by your Mobility Suite administrator, there are two links: Install and Enroll. If your device does not have NMS installed, tap Install. If your device already has NMS installed, tap Enroll.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Download and install NMS with Work Hub
If you already have Work Hub installed on your device, launch it and go to the Top Apps tab.
Find Norton Mobile Security and tap its icon.
Tap Install and continue to Google Play.
If NMS is already installed, Enroll is displayed instead of Install. Tap Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
From Google Play, install, download, and open NMS.
When your installation is complete, the NMS version for enterprises appears, with tabs for Anti-Malware, App Advisor, Web Protection, and Norton Apps. Go to the Anti-Malware tab to delete threats from your device.
Important note about removing threats with NMS
Your administrator cannot remove threats detected by NMS from your device. But you can remove them on the Anti-Malware tab of NMS.
Remove a threat from your device
When you're notified of an app infection (threat) on your device, tap on the notification.
The NMS app launches.
Tap the Anti-Malware tab.
Tap the Trash icon to remove the infected app.
IMPORTANT: You are removing the app entirely, not just the threat.
On Do you want to uninstall this app?, tap OK to remove the app and the threat.
