Using the Cloud Endpoint Protection Agent on the computer
Endpoint Protection computer users and local computer administrators have access to some of the features of Norton Internet Security through these access points:
Endpoint Protection icon menu that is found in the system tray
Right clicking on folders or files
Internet Explorer or Firefox web browser
The capabilities of these features vary based on user role and adherence to the organizations' security policies.

Opens Symantec.cloud interface that shows:
Status of Protection Agent
Status of Endpoint Protection
Opens a web browser to Symantec.cloud website. In most cases users do not have a login ID for the website.
Visually displays the Endpoint Agent configuration and status.
The Cloud Endpoint Protection Agent configuration and status are indicated using the standard green, yellow, and red indicators. A gray circle with a dash indicates a feature that is not active on the endpoint.
Disable Antivirus Auto-Protect
Permits Endpoint Protection antivirus services to be temporarily disabled to enable the operations that might be prevented when it is on. The administrator allows this capability using custom policies.
Disabling Antivirus Auto-Protect marks the computer at risk in the Endpoint Protection website. This system flag can be remedied with the Fix Now button.
By default, Antivirus Auto-Protect is automatically re-enabled in 15 minutes.
Opens the Norton Internet Security interface and begins a Quick Scan.
Makes a fully configurable scan available to an administrator on the local computer. Features include:
Full System Scan which can be scheduled
View Recent History
Opens the Norton Internet Security Security History window.
Displays the Endpoint Protection Policy Settings by default. It also gives access to:
Check for Updates
LiveUpdate requires adequate disk space to run successfully. Please ensure that your computers have 1 GB of available disk space to avoid LiveUpdate failures.
Opens a window detailing the different versions of the installed modules.
