To continue using Data Center Security: Server Advanced, you must purchase a license, and install the full kit on top of the trial management server installation. The Data Center: Server Advanced software is automatically upgraded to the full version.

How do I download the software? After you purchase the software, you will receive an email from Symantec with the serial number. Using the serial number, you can download the software from File Connect. To be able to download from File Connect, you must have the serial number provided by Symantec. If you have not received an email from Symantec that includes your serial number, contact Customer Support team at 1-855-487-1449.
Note that the serial number is case-sensitive
For Data Center Security, you can download the following softwares from File Connect:
Enter the serial number that you received from Symantec (Example : M1234567891).
Click on I Agree after you have read the End User License Agreement.
You may see a screen that will display a choice of available Languages.
Choose the proper Software and Version that you see listed in the Product area.
On the File Selection page, Step 1: Select preferred download method, choose HTTP Download.
Wait for the screen to refresh.
Scroll down to the File and Version you need to download and place a check next to the File.
Select Begin Downloading and Save the file to a location of your choice.
How do I ensure that the full product is downloaded successfully? Ensure that the downloaded file size is same as that of the source file. Else, try the download again.
How do I ensure that my installation is successful? To ensure that your installation is successful, log on to Unified Management Console, and navigate to Settings > Product Setup. In the Product Setup page, the Status must appear as Configured, and the value against Version must display the product version you have installed.
Can I install the Data Center Security: Server Advanced agent in a silent mode? Yes, you can install the Data Center Security: Server Advanced agent in a silent mode. For more information on installing the agent in a silent mode, refer to Online help.
Can I migrate my data while I upgrade to Data Center Security: Server Advanced 6.7 MP1? Yes, you can migrate your data while you upgrade. While installing the Management Server and the Unified Management Console 6.7 MP1, the installation wizard provides you an option to migrate the data. For more information on migrating the data, refer to Online help.
What does End of Support to VMware vCNS means? VMware’s vCNS (vShield Manager) environment is not supported by Symantec Data Center Security: Server, Monitoring Edition, and Server Advanced 6.7 MP1 and later. This means, if you have guest virtual machines configured on the vCNS environment and have migrated to DCS:SA 6.7MP1, then Symantec will no longer provide any fixes or support for your guest virtual machines that are in the vCNS environment. Symantec recommends that you migrate to VMware NSX to protect your guest virtual machines.
