How does Workflow/ServiceDesk Process View Page selection work?

Multiple Process View Pages can be defined in the list of pages that would be applicable to a process: Admin > Portal > Manage Pages > Process View Pages
If user has permissions to several of these pages, an evaluation to find an appropriate one has to be done. The settings in Process View Page definition that are evaluated for selecting the appropriate page for displaying are (in this order):
ServiceID: if pages exist with process' ServiceID, these pages are used.
Process View Type: Extended > Basic
Evaluation Order: Descending
Changing Process View Type from Extended to Basic causes this page not be selected/shown for some users.
