FEATURE REQUEST: Need the ability to be able to move a hard drive encrypted with Symantec Endpoint Encryption from one computer to another.
Last Updated November 18, 2016
Customer request: Need to be able to be put an internal drive, encrypted with SEE, into another machine and used, assuming authentication information for the disk is known. We understand that there may be architectural/driver reasons why a SEE disk encryption disk wouldn’t be accessible as a USB drive. We DO need the ability to swap internal drives into another machine, also as an internal drive. This would be for cases where we need data recovery, migrating to new machine for broken hardware, or similar issues. Please do not tell us this is not possible, as EnCase accomplishes it with our drivers.
