FEATURE REQUEST: Need to duplicate AD privileges/restrictions in the SEE server roles.
Last Updated February 28, 2017
Symantec Endpoint Encryption (SEE)
SEE Version Tested: 11.1.1 MP2 SEE Version Affected: All
Currently we do not have the ability to assign permissions in the SEE console in a granular way. We would like to assign admins diverse permission sets and then relegate those permissions only to their devices in their facility that will be segmented out by AD OU and SEE groups. This issue is preventing us from deploying to over 150k end points due to concerns that we are not assigning least privilege.
A Feature Request has been submitted for “duplicating the privileges/restrictions found in AD within the SEE roles to implement "Least Privileges"”.
