FEATURE REQUEST: Add USB-C support to Endpoint Encryption at Pre-Boot Authentication for external keyboards

SEE 11.1.2 Dell Latitude 7280 Docking Station model WD15-K17
Feature Request: The SEE client needs to support USB-C ports at the Pre-Boot Authentication screen for external keyboards. The Dell Latitude 7280 has USB 3.0 and USB-C (USB 3.1) ports. The WD15-K17 connects to the 7280 via the USB-C port. The keyboard attached to the WD15-K17 does not work at the SEE Pre-Boot Authentication screen.
A Feature Request has been submitted for “adding support for USB-C at the Pre-Boot Authentication screen for external keyboards in Symantec Endpoint Encryption”.
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add the functionality listed above. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
