Issue/Introduction

A CRU or Chassis Replacement Unit is a replacement unit without one or more of the following hardware components:

  • Hard Disk Drives (HDD)
  • Power Supply Units (PSU)
  • SSD Boot Device(s)
  • Add-on cards such as Network Interface Cards (NIC)
  • Rail Kits
  • Power and serial cables

Customers are required to remove the hardware components from their existing unit and install them into their CRU.

  • Malware Analysis Appliance: MAA-S400, MAA-S500
  • Management Center: MC-S400
  • Mail Threat Defense: MTD-S400
  • PacketShaper: PS-S200, PS-S400, PS-S500
  • ProxySG: SG900, SG9000, SG-S200, SG-S400, SG-S500
  • Reporter: RP-S500
  • Security Analytics: SA-J5300, SA-S500
