There are many users at a location that has shared workstations. Each of the users needs to be able to login at any of the computers. Requesting the ability to pre-register users on these shared workstations so an admin does not have to login at the Pre-Boot Authentication (PBA) so the users can then register. Need the ability to pre-register through policy or scripts, all users on all machines ahead of time so that anyone can login past PBA with a valid account.
A Feature Request has been submitted for “adding the ability to pre-register users in Endpoint Encryption”. Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add the functionality listed above. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product. There is no guaranteed date for this request from the Encryption Product Management team, or the Encryption Engineering team at this time.
