FEATURE REQUEST: add the option to configure a web proxy on Encryption Management Server
Last Updated October 02, 2017
This is a Feature Request to add a possibility to configure a web proxy on Encryption Management Server. This would allow to use full functionality of SEMS in environments in which all external web traffic has to go through a proxy. Otherwise, if SEMS is blocked from sending outgoing web traffic, it won't be able to i.e. perform keysearches or validate S/MIME certificates via CRL/OCSP.
A Feature Request has been submitted for adding the option to configure a web proxy on Encryption Management Server.
Symantec Corporation is committed to product quality and satisfied customers. Technical Support filed a Feature Request to add the functionality listed above. This Feature Request is currently being considered by Symantec Corporation to be addressed in a forthcoming version of the product.
