The table below explains the lifecycle milestones in this announcement as well as important information regarding dates and support options during this period.The dates and milestones provided are in accordance with the Blue Coat Software Support and Product Lifecycle Policy.
Milestones and Dates for Reporter 8.3 & 9.2
Notice of Status Change
The date of announcement of a pending product lifecycle change, such as End of Sale, End of Maintenance, and End of Life, for a given software release.
End of Sale Date (EOS)
The date after which this product will no longer be offered for sale, if applicable.
End of Maintenance (EOM)
The date after which this product is transitioned to limited technical support.After this point, Blue Coat will no longer provide code-level fixes for product defects.
End of Life (EOL)
The date after which Blue Coat no longer provides technical support for this product. After EOL, Blue Coat will no longer provide any security-related maintenance and software downloads may be unavailable. Extended technical support contracts will be honored their full term of service.
Blue Coat recommends that existing customer’s currently running versions 8.3 and 9.2 of Reporter with a valid Blue Coat maintenance agreement upgrade to the Reporter 9.4 code branch. Note that the 9.4 code branch has many features and fixes that should help customers and is the preferred code branch.
This action will ensure best service coverage over the life of the product.
