The SSL Visibility v3.8.5-16 maintenance release has been released on BTO for Blue Coat and OEM customers. Log in to BlueTouch Online (BTO) with your BTO credentials to download the image and release notes.
SSL Visibility v3.8.5-16 provides several important fixes for SV800, SV1800, SV2800, and SV3800 platforms, including a fix for the OpenSSL “Logjam” vulnerability (CVE-2015-4000).
The SSL Visibility appliance session cache lookup logic has been redesigned in order to reduce the frequency of cache miss errors.
To support the redesign, policy rules have been updated to support Layer3/Layer4 rules that are applied prior to the Server Hello, in order support topologies in which the SSL flow traverses the SSL Visibility appliance more than once and the Source IP is changed.
Please refer to the
SSLV 3.8.5 Release Notes for specific details on the policy rule change, fixes, and upgrade procedures.
Customers are advised to upgrade any system running v3.6.x or above at their earliest convenience.
Please refer to the SSLV 3.8.5 Release Notes for a complete description of Known Issues.
