Blue Coat Systems SSL Visibility appliance models SV1800, SV2800, and SV3800 running software version 3.8.4fc-55 have achieved Common Criteria NDPP, EAL 3+, and SOGIS certification. SSL Visibility 3.8.4fc-55 is based on version 3.8.4fc-17, which has achieved FIPS 140-2 level 2 validation.
The version 3.8.4fc-55 software is provided as a .nsu file which can be applied via the WebUI to any of the above SSL Visibility appliance models that are running a non-FIPS version of the software. The appliance will enter the bootstrap mode after it reboots following the “factory default reset” action.
Note: This software version does not contain all of the features available in the latest recommended (non-FIPS) version of the software. Please review the feature differences before installing this version of the software on any of the above mentioned SSL Visibility appliance models.
SSVisibility 3.8.4fc build 55 is certified for Common Criteria EA3+ and implements the requirements of Common Criteria EA3+ on the SSL Visibility appliance.
SSVisibility 3.8.4fc build 55 enforces the requirements of FIPS 140-2 Leve2 on the SSL Visibility appliance, and ensures the use of FIPS 140-2 Level 2 approved algorithms and FIPS behavior.
SSVisibility 3.8.4fc build 55 introduces new configuration options in the WebUI:

TLS connection for remote logging
SSVisibility 3.8.4fc build 55 provides enhanced audit logging that meets Common Criteria Network Device Protection Profile (NDPP) requirements.
