SGOS on AWS was released on November 28, 2016. To download the virtual appliance package (VAP), log in to BlueTouch Online (BTO) and go to the
Downloads page. The VAP includes the
SGOS on AWS Deployment Guide to help you get started.
SGOS 6.6.5.2 introduces the ability to deploy a ProxySG virtual appliance (Secure Web Gateway edition) running on Xen Hypervisor in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Because AWS is outside of the Blue Coat network, you must manually transfer SGOS virtual machine images into AWS, where you can configure and manage your virtual SGOS instances.
SGOS on AWS permits the same features and functionality as the Secure Web Gateway Virtual Appliance (SWG VA), except it does not support transparent proxy or WCCP.
