Dual RADIUS/LDAP Support
SA 8.0.4 contains a new configuration option for deployments that use both RADIUS and LDAP. The new LDAP option, Use Radius for authentication, is on the Settings > Authentication page under LDAP. When this option is enabled, Security Analytics disables LDAP authentication, relies solely on RADIUS for credential authentication, and then uses LDAP for the LDAP user’s group permissions. When the option is disabled, Security Analytics will first try RADIUS for credential authentication then fail over, if necessary, to LDAP for credential authentication. This option is only relevant when both LDAP and RADIUS are configured.
Important: For this option to take effect, you must go to the Settings > Authentication page, verify the option is checked, and click Save.
