Installed updated license to increase license count but the license count did not increase

Two separate licenses of 1,600 and 200 were combined for a single license file of 1,800. I installed the new license file, but it did not update the license count as shown on the license page of the Notification Server Console (Configuration > Licensing > License Status). It still showed only 1,600 total nodes for all of the Solutions.
For Notification Server SP2, remove the licenses with the AexLicenseManger.exe then reinstall.
For Notification Server SP3, manually remove licenses. To do so without the license removal tool, you can perform the following steps:
Click Start > Run.Enter MMC and click OK.
Once the Console1 window opens, click File > Add/Remove Snap-in.
The Add/Remove Snap-in window opens. Click the Add button.
The Add Standalone Snap-in window opens. Click Certificates and Add.
The Certificates snap-in window opens. Click Computer account and click Next.
The Select Computer widow opens. Click Local computer (the computer the console is running on) and click Finish.
In the Add Standalone Snap-in window. Click Close.
In the Console window under Console Root, expand the Certificates (Local Computer) item,click Altiris Licensing (for NS 6.0 SP3) or Computer Edge Licensing (for NS 6.0 SP2 and before) > Certificates.
Remove the Certificates.
If that doesn't resolve the problem then:
Stop the Altiris Services: "Altiris Service" and "Altiris Client Messenger Dispatcher Service."
Restart the Altiris Services.
The correct number of license counts should now show up under the license page of the Notification Server console.
