Keep getting Detection error: Event log is full: Security on SCSP manager

Symptoms 'Event log is full: Security' entries keep populating realtime events in the management console.
The windows event log on the agent indicated in the error message is full. The 'Event log is full: Security' is saying that the windows Security event log is full. Other errors that might be seen are 'Event log is full: Application' or 'Event log is full: System'. Clearing the appropriate windows event log will resolve this problem. Perform the following steps to clear a windows event log:
Click on Start, then right-click My Computer > Manage.
Expand Event Viewer, then right-click the appropriate event log (Application, System, or Security) and select Clear all Events.
Click Yes if you want to save the event log before clearing, otherwise choose No to clear the log.
