The pcAnywhere Solution Agent is not registered with the Altiris Agent. This situation can cause many issues, such as:
a pcAnywhere Settings policy is never applied by the Agent, therefore leaving the default configuration in place.
pcAnywhere plug-in installation continuously loops if the Install policy is on a schedule.(This situation has caused issues when using Remote Desktop to connect to the client where the following message is received, "The Host Cannot Run In a Terminal Services Session. Please Run Host Locally at the Server.")
During installation of the pcAnywhere plug-in, the pcAnywhere Agent (pcAAgent.dll) is not successfully registered with the managed client computer's operating system. If this registration fails, the Altiris Agent does not consider pcAnywhere installed.
