After renewing a RA / Symantec Validation and ID Protection Service certificate, you may experience the following behavior:
The same expiration date is given as the previous certificate
This issue occurs due to the expiration date of the RA / Symantec Validation and ID Protection Service certificate is determined by the service end date of the Symantec Unified Authentication account.
To resolve this problem, contact your sales representative to renew the account to extend the service end date an additional year. Once this is completed, enroll for a new RA / Symantec Validation and ID Protection Service certificate.
