The Symantec Endpoint Protection Center Small Business Edition is installed and the external IP is blacklisted by the CBL.
If Symantec Endpoint Protection Center Small Business Edition is not installed then the external IP is not listed by the CBL for this reason - please refer back to the CBL for other possible causes.
The CBL returns information such as: "If IP address 10.82.15.218 is or is NATing for a Symantec Protection Center instance, this appears to be a known issue."
When the Symantec Protection Center email notification is sent via the Internet, the syntax of the SMTP conversation causes the CBL to flag the email as suspicious.
The problem has been fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.
This issue applies only to environments running Symantec Endpoint Protection Center Small Business Edition where email notifications are being sent from the Symantec Protection Center to an external server via the Internet.
