How To configure Java LiveUpdate 3.5 or higher for ISA Server 2004 in user authentication mode.

You are using a Symantec product which uses Java LiveUpdate (JLU) version 3.5 or higher to download content updates. You want to configure JLU to download its content updates through a Microsoft Internet Security & Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004. Also, your ISA Server 2004 is already configured to allow Web services to authenticated users in the domain.
Please follow the steps below to configure JLU for ISA Server 2004:
1) Make sure your ISA Server 2004 is configured to allow Basic Authentication for Web Proxy requests ISA 2004 Manager > your server > Configuration > Networks > Edit "Internal" > Web Proxy > Authentication
2) Make sure your Java LiveUpdate and Java Runtime Environment are configured properly The JRE should be enabled with the correct Java Cryptography Extension"JCE Unlimited strength jurisdiction Policy"files. To download the correct JCE policy files below:
