Messages from a specific sender not received or received in a sporadic manner.
Message Audit Logs shows an action of 'abort message.'
Messages contain an attachment
If the message attachment is large, or if there is limited bandwidth, the session time-out settings for in the Inbound Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) may need to be adjusted. (Ex: session time-out settings is for 30 seconds and it takes more than 30 seconds to transmit the message with the attachment in full - the Messaging Gateway software will terminate the transmission with a 421 error)
Increase the Inbound MTA session time-out settings;
1. Open the Control Center. 2. Click Administration. 3. Click Configuration. 4. Edit your SMTP host. 5. Click the SMTP tab. 6. Click Advanced Settings. 7. Increase the Session time-out for the inbound MTA configuration. 8. Click Continue. 9. Click Save.
