Start the "Task Scheduler Service".

1. Go to Start > Run.
2. Type "Services.msc" without the quotes and click OK.
3. Locate the Task Scheduler service in the list.
4. The status should be started; if it is not, start the service.
5. Make sure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.
