Mail gets 'Rejected by MTA' in the Message Audit Logs

Messaging Gateway (SMG) is recieving handed messages from a third party mail filter system. The messages are getting rejected by the Messaging Gateway.
Message audit logs show the verdict column as listing 'None' and the Action listed as 'Rejected by MTA'
If the domain that the message is being sent to is not listed in the domain list in the protocol configuration, then the inbound mta will reject the message. This is due to a fail-safe put into the software to prevent the inbound mta from becoming susceptible to being an open relay.
Ensure that the product has the correct domains configured within (Protocols -> Domains) in the control center. If you are missing a domain, you can add it in this location.
