SSL Certificate problem when applying a license to Symantec Brightmail Gateway in ESX/ESXi environment

You are installing Symantec Brightmail Gateway on an ESX/ESXi server.
The registration of the license fails due to the error showed below.
Unable to communicate with Symantec to register. Please check your connection settings and try again. SSL Certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK." or in Symantec Brightmail Gateway 9.0 the error "Unable to communicate with Symantec to register. Please check your connection settings, and try again. CURL error 60.
The date is not correct
Set the correct date. In ESX environment the quickest solution is to enter into the bios of the virtual machine and set the correct date and time.
