When querying Message Audit Log (MAL) via the graphical user interface (GUI) for message details on a Symantec Messaging Gateway appliance (formerly known as Symantec Brightmail Gateway) versions 9.0 and above, there is an error message displayed on the screen.
The message audit log query may have returned partial results. Please use the Audit ID filter and select All Scanners to get complete results.
This issue has been fixed in the SMG versions 9.5 and above. Symantec recommends all customers to upgrade to the latest available release to get the fix for this issue.
