The RMS Console will not launch. It stops at 75% while displaying the message 'retrieving licenses.'
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
1) Close the RMS Data Collection Console. 2) On Windows 2003 Server, browse to Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Licenses. On Windows 2008 Server this folder will be found at ProgramData\Symantec Shared\Licenses. 3) Copy all .SLF files to a backup location. 4) Delete all .SLF files from the licenses directory. 5) Copy the new .SLF license files to the . \Symantec Shared\Licenses and launch the console.
