While assigning an SCSP policy to a UNIX SCSP agent the agent shows with an exclamation mark in the console and the error: "Policy Translation Failed: Driver failed to load new policy: Missing or invalid port range." is shown. The policy does not get applied.
This error can be found in the Console,SISRTEvents.csv and SISIDSEvents.csv.

You are probably using an older version of the Symantec Provided Prevention policy for UNIX, sym_unix_protection_sbp v 5.2.0 rXXX
This has been reported with sym_unix_protection_sbp v 5.2.0 r150 and sym_unix_protection_sbp v 5.2.0 r158 and other versions might show the same issue.
Obtain ..\packs\SCSPPreventionSourcePolicyPack-5.2.6-2010082501.zip from the SCSP 5.2.6 CDROM. (or newer when released)
Open SCSP console and go to Prevention View – Policies and at the top – click “Import a policy” and point to the file in step 1
In the SCSP console, go to Prevention View – Policies and at the top – click “Create new policy” and make sure you select the policy pack “v5.2.6 2010-Aug-25 r1” and enter the other fields and selections as you like.
Apply the newly created policy “my_policy_name v 5.2.0 r179” (or higher revision number) to the problematic agent in question.
