When attempting to use PGP Shred Free Space on Windows Vista or Windows 7, after clicking the
Begin Shred button, the message below is displayed prompting you to run the program as an Administrator and you cannot select the
Next button to continue.
Shredding could not be completed successfully. You need administrator privileges to shred this volume. Please launch PGP Desktop (PGPdesk.exe) using 'Run as Administrator'.
Even when logged in to Windows Vista/Windows 7 with an Administrator account or utilizing the 'Run as Administrator' option, you are unable to successfully perform the PGP Shred Free Space. This issue is caused when the User Account Control (UAC) is enabled on the Windows Vista/Windows 7 system.
