After sending an email message to a Web Messenger recipient, you receive a message that the email system was unable to deliver the message. The message may be similar to the following:
The following recipient(s) could not be reached: email@example.com on 2/18/2009 10:06 AM
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator. < keys.domain.com #5.0.0 smtp; 554 Transaction Failed Spam Message not queued.>
Check the PGP Desktop and PGP Universal Server Mail logs for any errors or messages relating to the message.
Inspect the message headers for the mail path of the message. Verify if the email message is following the correct path.
Send a test message to another external Web Messenger user in a different domain. This will assist in determining if the issue is related to only a specific domain or to multiple domains.
Examine the Spam filter settings for your network. If necessary, configure the Spam filter to allow Web Messenger traffic.
