When installing PGP Desktop 64-bit on a Lenovo laptop, after rebooting the system, installation stops at the
New User screen in the PGP Setup Assistant and becomes unresponsive.
This issue can occur on Lenovo laptops with certain components of the ThinkVantage software installed. These can include the Access Connections or Client Security Solution of the ThinkVantage software. To resolve this issue, uninstall the ThinkVantage programs to continue the setup of PGP Desktop.
