After installing PGP Desktop on a Dell computer, upon reboot the PGP Tray icon fails to start and PGP Desktop does not open.
This issue can occur on Dell computers with the Dell Security Device Driver Pack and the Dell ControlPoint installed due to a conflict with PGP Desktop. To enable PGP Desktop functionality, uninstall the Dell Security Device Driver Pack and the Dell ControlPoint software from the system. After uninstalling and rebooting the computer, you should be prompted to enter the license information for PGP Desktop.
