USP is initially configured with a single interface, on port 443 using SSL, for communication with PGP clients. You can add additional interfaces to allow communication over other ports or via HTTP rather than HTTPS (SSL).
The Universal Services Protocol (USP) provides communication between PGP Desktop clients, PGP Universal Satellite, and keyservers.
This is a new feature in PGP Universal Server 3.0.
To add an interface for USP
Login to the PGP Universal Server administrative interface.
Click Services > USP. The Universal Services Protocol page appears.
Click the Add icon to create a new row.
Select an interface from the drop-down menu.
Type the port number you want to use.
Uncheck the SSL box if you do not want to use SSL.
To remove a row from the table, click the Remove icon.
Note: You cannot remove the interface if it is the only one configured.
