After successfully installing PGP Desktop 10.x, the PGP Tray icon is not displayed in the Windows System Tray and when selected from the All Programs menu, PGP Desktop does not open.
This issue can occur on some versions of PGP Desktop 10.x when the
My Documents folder is moved to a location other than the default e.g. a network share or external disk. The
My Documents folder contains a
PGP folder which includes your PGP keyring files. PGP Desktop requires access to the keyring file to open.
This issue is corrected in an upcoming release of PGP Desktop. To obtain a fix for this issue, log in to your support account and submit a request for technical support.
