When attempting to encrypt a folder with PGP NetShare to user keys in an Active Directory group, if you search for the user keys on the PGP Universal Server, you receive an error message similar to the following:
One or more user keys is unknown, is revoked, is expired, or is disabled.
This is a known issue and can occur when encrypting a PGP NetShare folder with enrolled users which belong to an Active Directory group which includes certain special characters in the groups name. Active Directory group names using the characters *, ; : " ' < > ? / + = [ ] \ | ( ) are currently not supported with PGP NetShare.
To workaround this issue, avoid using special characters in Active Directory groups which are used with PGP Universal Server users.
