PGP Universal Server administrators can configure user policy to lock users out after a specified failed login attempts.
Lock passphrase user accounts on Windows clients... setting is enabled, the default setting is 3 failed login attempts. This setting is disabled by default on the Disk Encryption tab in the PGP Desktop options for the user policy.
This setting is available beginning with version 2.9 of the PGP Universal Server and allows administrator to enforce a PGP WDE BootGuard Lockout.
To enable or increase/decrease the login attempts
Log in to the PGP Universal Server admin interface.
Click Consumers > Consumer Policy.
Click the desired Consumer Policy. The Consumer Policy Options are displayed.
Select Desktop next to PGP Desktop and click Disk Encryption.
Scroll down and place a checkmark next to Lock passphrase user accounts on Windows clients... and enter a value for the failed attempts.
