You want to know how to change the default IP-based connection limitation in Brightmail Gateway to allow for more connections to be accepted from a given IP address.
To change this setting:
Log in as Admin to the Brightmail Gateway control center.
Edit the scanner you wish to edit.
Click the SMTPtab.
Click Advanced Settings down below.
Select the Inbound, or Outbound tab (depending on which MTA you need to edit the settings for.)
Edit the field 'Maximum number of connections from a single IP address:' to the desired number. (It is not recommended increasing any further then 40, as this could open the system up to possible Denial of Service attacks.)
