Scheduled jobs fail to run in Symantec Control Compliance Suite.
The scheduled jobs function in Symantec Control Compliance Suite requires constrained delegation.
If the domain functional level is Windows 2000 then constrained delegation can not be enabled, and the option 'Use Control Compliance Suite to save passwords' will needs to be used. This setting is found in the properties of the Application server in the SETTINGS\TOPOLOGICAL MAP section of the CCS console. By selecting to use CCS to save the passwords, the various passwords for launching scheduled jobs can be saved in the Directory Server (ADAM) in an encrypted form. Once this change has been made, use the HOME\USER PREFERENCES to enter the password to be cached in ADAM. You must be logged into the CCS console with the same ID that created the scheduled job when entering this password.
Domain functional level is Windows 2000.
