Pushing software to a client results in a 1326 error. Both file and directory permissions allow everyone to read. The network share can be accessed remotely without authenticating.
The action results in a 1326 error which is typically associated with network share authentication failures.
Reportedly, the problem was with the service logon account.
If the installer or script being executed requires network access rights, the Software Management run as rights cannot be the System Account. By default the credentials "Symantec Management Agent Credentials" equates to the System Account unless otherwise noted during the install of the agent. The System Account does not have any rights to look outside of the local system.
To resolve the issue, use "Specified User" and provide an account that has rights to the target systems and to any network shares required during the execution.
