Contents of the Endpoint Protection Manager disaster recovery file

This article describes what is contained in the recovery file for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM).
The recovery file is a .ZIP file that contains several files that are required to restore client communication. If you need to reinstall the SEPM, you can point the Server Configuration Wizard to this file and it will automatically restore the required information.
The primary contents of the recover file are:
The server private key (The tomcat keystore)
The server private key password (to unlock the tomcat keystore)
The Apache SSL keys
Configured TCP port numbers
