The file name length has exceeded the configured value

Scan Engine allows file to bypass scanning in Native mode with the following error: The file name length has exceeded the configured value.

The Native protocol has a MaxFilenameLength value which when exceeded will not scan files.
Disable the feature or increase the length using the xmlmodifier.jar tool.
The following command assumes Java is in the path and can be run from any location within the the command prompt.
Stop the scan engine service.
Change to the Symantec Scan Engine installation directory, by default this is c:\program files\symantec\Scan Engine\ for Windows and /opt/SYMCscan/bin/ for Linux and Solaris.
To disable the MaxFilenameLength option use the following command.
