'LiveUpdate Content' is grayed out in Symantec Scan Engine 5.2.10

When trying to run Liveupdate manually by clicking LiveUpdate Content in the Symantec Scan Engine (SSE) interface, under > System > LiveUpdate Content, it is noticed that LiveUpdate Content is grayed out, although the 'LiveUpdate Status' shows that no Liveupdate is currently running.
NOTE: When Liveupdate is in progress, the LiveUpdate Content option is grayed out. This is by design.
When Liveupdate is not in progress, make LiveUpdate Content available to run a manual Liveupdate, by doing the following:
In the Symantec Scan Engine web interface, in the left column, select System
In the middle column, select LiveUpdate Content
In the right column/ field under Definition Details, select under Feature the row for AV Definitions
This will make LiveUpdate Content available for selection (for a few seconds)
Once LiveUpdate Content is clicked, a -manual- Liveupdate is starting (in Task Manager a new java.exe process is started) and LiveUpdate Content is grayed out.
