When upgrading ServiceDesk on the SMP 7.1 server SIM reports that "You must manually upgrade the Workflow Server that is on this SMP"
Last Updated December 14, 2011
Symantec Installation Manager (SIM) returns a "Existing workflow installation detected on SMP" warning during the "Install Readiness Check" while performing a ServiceDesk upgrade from ServiceDesk 7.1 to ServiceDesk 7.1.x and says that "You must manually upgrade the Workflow Server that is on this SMP".
Workflow is now a built in component of the Symantec Management Platform 7.1 (SMP) console install but SIM still sees it as a independent solution requiring a separate install.
This warning can be ignored. Workflow will be updated to 7.1.x with the ServiceDesk solution upgrade.
