Not able to open the SEPM console as its giving a error "Could not find the main class: com.sygate.scm.console.ConsoleMain. Program will exit".

Force Shutdown of the server while the "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager" Console was open

1.Clieck on "start" then go to "Run" and type in "services.msc".

2. It will open up services console, Navigate to "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service", Right click on it and stop it.

3.Navigate to "Symantec Embedded database service" and right-click on it and restart the service.(Sometimes the service goes in stopping mode, Then try and stop the process (dbsrv9.exe) and in SEPM 12.1 (dbsrv11.exe) from "Task Manager" which will automatically restart the service for the Embedded database. This can avoid restarting of the server.

4. Start the "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager service" service by right clicking on it from the services console.

5.Try opening  "Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager" Console and it will open up and will allow us to login.
