Rolled out Service Package Update and the client displays 'failed to install' in the Altiris Agent GUI > Software Update Tab.

Exit Code 3017 = Reboot required for executable.
Found a reboot of the client, following the run of this update, begins the process to 'configure the service pack' through the operating system.
Configured the Default Software Update Plug-in Policy to reboot following the Software Update Cycle.
The Service Pack installed and rebooted. Agent GUI displays 'Installed' status.
This policy is outlined on KM: HOWTO56242 in step #7.
