8004 is the administrator port. The console listens on this port and users can access the scan engine through that method. Once the tcp handshake done, the scan engine will initiate an SSL handshake procedure and exchange the certificate for encryption purposes. This will trigger a push from the JVM packages to the remote host to setup a JRE, once the JRE is ready the user can then input user ID and password to access the scan engine.
8005 is used for encrypted file transmission to enhance increased security. The scan engine will notice the ssl port 8005 to remote host during the session between remote host(any port) and scan engine(tcp port 8004). For example, the inputted password and retrieved data will be encrypted under TLS protocol.
